About the Astrologer

Hey there! My name is Brittany Mailhot and I'm a practicing astrologer, with a focus in evolutionary astrology. I'm empathetic and deeply water-y (Scorpio placements galore!), so I approach my practice from a place of non-judgment and emotional understanding. I firmly believe that there are no bad signs or bad placements, only unique sets of challenges we're faced with. When we stand in our personal power and overcome these changes, we can blossom and help others do the same. Astrology is a tool for building a better world.

When I'm not looking up at the stars and exploring the world of astrology (which, to be honest, takes up a good chunk of my time), you can find me spending time with my partner and our two cats (I like to consider myself a dog person that was forced into being a cat mom, but I love those two fuzzy furballs dearly), exploring the globe, and strolling through the forest. I'm also a passionate knitter (but a cool knitter, ya know? - at least that's what I tell myself), gardener, and herbal medicine hobbyist.

About Two Wolves Astrology

Two Wolves Astrology was founded based on the legend of the Cherokee tale of the two wolves - a story that has shaped both my life and the way I approach my astrological practice. This story discusses how we all have two wolves inside of us, with one being "good" and the other being "evil", who are constantly at war within us. When the child in the story asks the Elder which of the wolves will win the war, the Elder states "whichever one you feed".

Astrology are much the same as this story. We all come into this life with certain gifts and certain challenges. It's a mixed bag for all of us. Our birth charts don't represent an inescapable fate, but rather a map with various choices. Will we ignore this trauma and deal with it in another life, or pass it onto our children or society? Or will we take the higher route and work through it to move our souls along on their evolutionary journey? The choice lies within in.

In honor of the indigenous nations whose stolen lands I currently live on, and who I have borrowed this story from, I would like to recognize that I currently live on the unceded land of the Wabanaki nations. If you would like to support the Wabanaki people by making donation, I recommend donating to The Wabanaki Women's Coalition. If you send me proof of your donation, I will offer a 10% discount on the cost of the reading.
